Even though I usually write about contemporary art, I wanted to highlight two extraordinary jewelry exhibitions which are on view in the U.S. right now. In New York, Jewels by JAR just opened at the Met. In San Francisco, The Art of Bulgari: La Dolce Vita & Beyond, 1950-1990 will be on display at the de Young Museum in Golden Gate Park through March 9, 2014.
