It's not too late to book a New England ski getaway. Fly into Burlington and then drive an hour to the charming village of Stowe. Alternatively, you could drive up from Manhattan, but allow six hours. If you're looking for a bit of old Stowe, book a room at the Stowehof Inn, especially if you enjoy fondue. You can rent equipment at Pinnacle Ski & Sports, which is preferable to getting the gear on the mountain. Have fun in the snow!
